Australian hybridizer Margaret Paterson’s cultivar of (lilliputiana x ‘Midnight’) is a small growing beauty. The plant reaches about six inches tall and eight to ten inches across in an upright, spreading rosette with a slightly bulbous base. The color is green with a dark purplish veneer, very dark, a color that does not photograph well. The actual plant appears darker than the photos. The plant also has many tiny purplish speckles and flecks. The color flush at anthesis is a darker purple. Show more
