Grown organically in the foothills of the Himalayas, our Népal Mont Everest is a refined single-origin with excellent body, bright citrus notes and a clean, lively acidity. Our TAG roast is crafted to draw out its full character. Freshly roasted on demand in our Montréal facility. Tasting Notes Refined and expressive, the cup pairs a rich, rounded body with bright citrus notes and a clean, lively acidity. It's an elegant, well-balanced coffee that reflects the high-altitude Himalayan terroir it comes from. Origin The former Kingdom of Nepal is a multicultural country renowned for its magnificent mountains, where coffee growing is still a relatively new tradition. This plantation was established in 1996 in the foothills of the Himalayas, about 75 km north of Kathmandu, along the banks of the Trisuli River – en route to the celebrated Langtang and Ganesh Himal trekking region. Grown for export, this coffee contributes meaningfully to the region's economic stability. The estate supports local farmers with educational and agricultural assistance, and its commitment to the land – soil conservation and reforestation – helps protect and preserve endangered species. Roast With over four decades of expertise in green-bean selection, roasting and cupping, our TAG Roast (Torrefazione Artigianale Granito) is crafted to bring out the fullest potential of each single-origin coffee. Through a meticulous process, we achieve the complete caramelization of the beans' sugars, unlocking their rich, complex flavours – the balance of expertise, passion, intuition and the keen insight of our Master Roaster. Brewing Best enjoyed as a filter coffee at 8 g per 8.5 oz; it also pulls as an espresso at 8 g per 1 oz. Available in multiple grinds to suit your brewing method.
