Nephrolepis exaltata 'Green Lady'Nephrolepis exaltata 'Green Lady' forms a generous fountain of fresh to bright-green fronds. Numerous narrow leaflets line the central stem of each arching frond, creating a soft, feathery surface and a gently cascading edge. A slight wave may run through the leaflets, but the texture stays cleaner and less contorted than that of strongly curled or heavily ruffled Boston ferns. The plant remains densely gathered at its central crown, where each new frond first appears as a compact curl. It gradually unrolls, reaches over the surrounding foliage and deepens in colour, continually refreshing the fountain-like outline. Fine runners may travel beyond the main clump and form daughter plants.
