Neptune Apex Probe Module 1 The Neptune Apex Probe Module 1 expands a compatible Apex system with an additional pH or ORP probe port, an extra temperature port, six digital inputs, AquaBus expansion, and full Apex data logging. PM1 Expansion for pH or ORP Monitoring The PM1 is a practical Apex expansion module for aquariums that need another pH or ORP monitoring point. It is commonly used for calcium reactors, kalkwasser monitoring, secondary pH tracking, ozone/ORP monitoring, quarantine systems, frag systems, or any setup where one more probe input helps improve visibility and control. Neptune PM1 Features Adds one selectable pH or ORP probe port to a compatible Apex system Includes an additional temperature probe port for expanded temperature monitoring Six digital inputs support compatible float switches, pressure switches, water-on-floor sensors, push buttons, and custom switch applications Full data logging through the Apex base system Plug-and-play AquaBus module that is automatically recognized after installation Two AquaBus connectors allow flexible expansion in an Apex system LED status indicator provides quick module status visibility Upgradeable firmware supports long-term Apex ecosystem use Galvanic isolation helps support accurate and reliable probe readings Probe Module 1 Specifications Product type: Apex probe expansion module Probe input: One selectable pH or ORP port Temperature input: One temperature probe port Digital inputs: Six I/O switch inputs AquaBus ports: Two AquaBus connectors Compatibility: Compatible with Apex systems Included cable: 3 ft AquaBus cable Probes: Sold separately PM1 Aquarium Applications Use the PM1 when a single Apex base unit does not provide enough probe capacity for the way the aquarium is managed. A reef tank may use the PM1 to monitor calcium reactor pH separately from display-tank pH, while another system may use it for ORP tracking or a remote sump and frag-tank temperature input. The digital inputs also make the module useful for adding basic switch-based logic to an Apex installation. Setup Directions Mount the PM1 in a dry, protected area away from splashes and salt creep. Connect the included AquaBus cable to the Apex system, then connect the selected pH, ORP, temperature, or compatible switch accessories as needed. Configure and name the inputs in Apex Fusion, calibrate probes before relying on readings, and test any alarms or control actions before regular use.
