Apex Lunar Simulation for Reef Aquariums The LSM is designed to let an Apex system dim and brighten connected moonlight LEDs according to the true lunar cycle. This gives the aquarium a more natural nighttime lighting pattern while also allowing easier viewing after the main lights turn off without using a bright flashlight that may startle fish or nocturnal animals. Choose the LED string length based on aquarium width, canopy layout, mounting location, and how much moonlight coverage is desired across the display. Setup Directions Mount the LSM in a dry, protected location away from splashes and salt creep. Connect the module to the Apex system using the included AquaBus cable, connect a compatible Neptune Lunar LED string, then configure the moonlight output through the Apex system.
