It's no secret I love the Australian Outback. I especially have a real soft spot for Coober Pedy. Here people live underground to escape the scorching temps of summer, opal mining is the game and the surrounding landscapes are littered with pyramid shaped mounds. This humble basketball hoop was in the backyard of the "Dugout" we were calling home. To me It represents the true outback spirit of giving it a go and making do with what you've got.
