Pre-rinse wheels with cold water to cool the surface and remove loose dirt. Dilute ATC 300 as required for the contamination level (heavily diluted for routine, stronger for very stubborn jobs). Spray onto cool wheels and allow only a very short dwell time (around 30–60 seconds). Agitate with a wheel brush if needed but do not allow the product to dry on the surface. Rinse off thoroughly with high-pressure clean water from top to bottom. Only use on diamond-cut or polished alloys very heavily diluted, or choose a pH-neutral wheel cleaner instead. What dwell time is safe before rinsing on a hot wheel?Never apply to a hot wheel. On cool wheels keep dwell to 30–60 seconds and rinse before any sign of drying. Heat dramatically accelerates etching risk.
