Born in 1994, Nerys grew up between Aotearoa and Cymru/Wales and is now based across Te Tau Ihu and Te Ika ā Māui. Her mahi toi is shaped by Māori and Cymraeg perspectives, respond ing to the social injustices of colonisation. Through her practice, Nerys seeks to restore Indigenous histories and knowledge, weaving together fine and applied art across community, public space, and contemporary contexts.
