The Netafim TL050MFV-1 automatic flush valve is engineered for reliable, low-maintenance flushing of Techline drip systems. Designed to remove sediment and debris at the start of each irrigation cycle, this flow-activated valve helps prevent clogging and preserves dripline performance with minimal water loss. Flush volume: Approximately 1 gallon per cycle — effective, low-waste flushing. Maximum zone flow per flush: 15 GPM to ensure proper cleaning for typical residential and commercial zones. Inlet connection: 1/2" MPT (nominal 1/2 in) for direct connection to supply fittings. Operating pressure range: Minimum 1.5 PSI; maximum 57 PSI for consistent operation across common systems. Flow-activated design: Operates by flow rather than pressure so it reliably flushes at line start-up. Serviceability: Disassembles for winterization and easy maintenance; compatible with Techline 17 mm dripline connections. Construction & finish: Durable brown plastic body sized for standard dripline installations; sold individually. Install the TL050MFV-1 at the downstream end of each lateral or at recommended locations to optimize line cleanliness. Observe the initial flush during commissioning to confirm correct operation and repeat seasonal checks. For best results pair with recommended filtration and follow local winterization practices to extend service life.
