This Neumann tube mic features a U67 circuit, created by Max Kircher: The Circuit, Transformer, PCB and electronic parts closely follow the original and have been tested & measured to warrant perfect U67 operation. The only add-on to the original is a small circuit enabling the use of either the EF86 or PF86 tube without changing any of the circuit parameters like biasing etc. It started life as a modern U87 Ai which has a new internal body/circuit board as mentioned above. The capsule is a KK87 from the Ai. The badge and bottom ring have been replaced with 67 parts (black badge). The filter switch now changes between the valve circuit and a version of the Ai circuit (without valve). There is also an internal switch to go between EF86/PF86 depending on the valve fitted.
