Neuthane™ is a 2-part polyurethane flexible moulding rubber for use in plaster and concrete casting. Neuthane™ is simple to use, has low viscosity and gives excellent detail reproduction and high tear strength. The mix ratio varies from 2 – 1 to 2 - 2, Base – Isocyanide; please see the table below. The finished rubber gives: A high level of elasticity Good tear resistance Good abrasion resistance Low process temperatures Good dimensional stability Typical Applications Concrete Industry (e.g. moulds for decorative slabs and walls) Plaster Mouldings Model making. For the best results and long-term mould life, Neuthane™ moulds should be left for 7 days before entering production to allow full cure.
