Whether you choose Ceramic or Glass decals, they are LEAD FREE and FOOD SAFE. You can use them on a plate or bottom of a bowl giving you more options than many of our competitors that cannot offer the same type of decal. Our waterslide ceramic are permanent and will not scratch or rub off once fired. Our Ceramic decals have a clear covercoat that burns off entirely in the firing. They should fire with the following instructions: Firing temperatures: 1436 F - 1508 F Cone 015-017 NO hold.. fast firing On the Glass decals, there is a flux covercoat. The will leave a faint line where you cut out the decal. The following instructions are for glass decals: Firing temperature: 1050 F - 1200 F Cone 022-020 NO hold... fast firing.
