About This Print New Beginning was captured near Pincher Creek in the Alberta foothills when a storm that had been building all afternoon finally broke open, mammatus clouds rolling overhead, and then a double rainbow appearing over the rolling grassland. The car was on the shoulder before the decision was fully conscious. Storm light in the foothills has an electricity to it that the mountains rarely match, open sky, fast-moving weather, and the sense that something rare is unfolding with seconds to respond.
