New Jersey Tea is a compact rounded native shrub with young twigs that are noticeably yellow and broad toothed leaves with hairy grey undersides. Cylindrical panicles of fragrant w hite flowers bloom on long stems in late spring into summer. Best planted in dry to medium well-drained soils. Extremely drought resistant.
