Jack and Mary Lynn Beaty began raising Brangus cattle in 1991 to combine the strengths of two breeds: the marbling and tenderness of Angus with the resilience and hardiness of Brahman. The cattle are born and raised on the farm and spend most of their lives grazing wide-open pastures. Beaty Farms rotationally manages those pastures to encourage healthy forage, reduce overgrazing, and protect the land that has supported the family for seven generations. Before processing, the cattle are grain-finished for quality and flavor using a custom feed mixture created with animal nutrition experts.
