Newton HydroBond 2K-Flex Mesh is a high-quality reinforcing mesh specifically designed for use with the Newton HydroBond 2K-Flex bitumen waterproofing coating. It is manufactured from woven fibreglass yarns and coated with an alkaline-resistant latex. This specialized coating protects the glass fibers from degradation caused by the high alkalinity found in cementitious substrates and coatings. When embedded between layers of the 2K-Flex membrane, the mesh significantly increases the tensile strength and crack-bridging capabilities of the waterproofing system, especially at critical detail areas and changes in direction.
