They provide long lasting relief and are ideal for 24 hour control. Nexium Gastro-Resistant Tablets 20mg 7s gastro-resistant tablets help bring relief from heartburn & acid reflux. It works by reducing the amount of acid in your stomach to relieve your symptoms. It is also used to prevent ulcers in people who use nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). What is Nexium used for? To treat Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) To treat ulcers in the stomach or the upper part of the gut that are infected with bacteria called ‘Helicobacter pylori’ in combination with antibiotics. To treat stomach ulcers caused by Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). Warnings Do not take Nexium if: You are allergic to esomeprazole If you are allergic to other proton pump inhibitor medicines If you have severe liver problems.
