So I grew up with this idea that death was not a morbid thing, but rather something connected with joy, playfulness, bright colours and gooey sounds. In this sadistic master piece, I tried to recreate that same old feeling. The light-fulness of the blue souls make the short life of the red little fellas look even more miserable than it already seems. But in the end, isn't that what everybody hopes for? An happy, cheerful, blissful life after death?" By Frederico Ramires
