Biophysicist and author of China Vancouver Attempt, 27yo Nicholas Wagter was detained, or medically kidnapped, in May 2026 under British Columbia's Mental Health Act on the order of a psychiatrist who had earlier seen Wagter handing out his pamphlets that document CCP interference in Canada.
