In fact NGK produces and stocks well in excess of 1,000 different types of plug. NGK always works very closely with the engine manufacturer to ensure a perfect match between plug and machine. By producing a high intensity electrical discharge within the engines combustion chamber the spark plug provides the heat energy required to start the air/fuel mixture burning. It has to be able to do this many thousand times per minute.
