Three soldiers on one base acting as a single character is the interesting part of this pack. One activation moves the whole unit, so it is efficient in a way individual characters are not, and it sits at the cheap end of the threat scale, which is precisely what a S.H.I.E.L.D. roster tends to be short of.What that gets you in practice is a durable body to put on an objective, one that does not fold to a single attack the way most inexpensive characters do. Fury Senior does not lead the affiliation, so this box is not where a S.H.I.E.L.D. collection starts. The leadership sits with the modern Nick Fury in the S.H.I.E.L.D. Affiliation Pack, and the two Furies are separate characters, so owning both is legal and often correct. Two Team Tactic Cards and a set of tokens round out the box. This is the right buy for a S.H.I.E.L.D. player whose list keeps ending up with four expensive characters and nobody free to score, and the wrong buy for someone chasing a centrepiece: nothing here is going to headline a squad. If you have no other S.H.I.E.L.D. characters at all, get the affiliation pack first and treat this as reinforcement afterwards.
