The square canvas i s worked in mixed media, with acrylic and ink layered through textures, dribbles and scraped marks so the light reads as atmosphere and movement rather than literal detail.Potter came to painting after reading Archaeology at Leicester and years in educational publishing, drawn in by frequent trips to Cornwall, Scotland and the Lake District.
