Kurtz began as a photographer, capturing light, detail, and emotion through the lens. Over time, that moved to textiles, where she now create scarves and artworks using natural dyes on silk and cashmere fabrics. Alongside these pieces, Kurtz design and handcraft cards, each one a small expression of colour and form.Kurtz's studio is a place where all of these practices meet.
