However, despite its stunning aesthetics, the Niger Trigger is not considered reef-safe due to its strong predatory instincts and tendency to nip at corals and invertebrates. Therefore, it's advisable to house Niger Triggers in fish-only tanks or carefully select tank mates that can withstand their territorial nature.
