12" Black Double Vinyl Manchester-based artist Jonathan Ogden announces the vinyl release of his double-album, NIGHT & DAY. Where NIGHT dealt with the grief of his parents’ passing , complicated relationships, and an identity crisis: DAY is about moving forwards, pressing on and exploring faith and doubt in the daily rhythms of life. Where NIGHT's themes were unpacked through tender, acoustic textures and soft melancholy - DAY drives steadily through 12 uplifting songs with an almost dream-like nostalgic quality. The majority of them being recorded with a band in Japan, featuring K-Indie artist DANIEL on guitar, and Sunset Rollercoaster's Haoting on Saxaphone, and completed in his Manchester home studio. The 12 songs that make up DAY are immediate, relatable and full of vibrant colour. It feels like emerging from the darkness and cold of winter into the fresh air of Spring. Tracklist:NIGHT1.
