The Night Vision Bungee Retainer is everything you need and nothing you don't when is comes to retaining your night vision device. This effective design features shock cord that you girth hitch around your NODs and then use the hook/loop end to mate to your helmet. This design serves multiple purposes; first and foremost the device retains your investment or sensitive item to your helmet in the event of a breakaway. Secondly, the bungee retainer replaces the need to utilize built in ARC rail bungees by maintaining positive pressure on the device via the shock cord, which reduces rattling or slop in your night vision. Lastly the Bungee retainer remains attached to your NODs while stowed, and quickly mates to your helmet.
