With eyes that glow with an otherworldly light, the Scriptor Mortis sees beyond the veil of the mortal realm, discerning the secrets of life and death that elude the living. They are the chroniclers of the afterlife, cataloging the sins and virtues of the departed souls that wander the haunted realms. Though they do not wield weapons in the traditional sense, the Scriptor Mortis possesses a formidable power over the souls of the dead. With but a word or a gesture, they can unleash the spectral energies contained within the Book of the Dead, calling forth vengeful spirits to do their bidding. In battle, the Scriptor Mortis serves as both a scribe and a harbinger of doom, guiding the restless spirits of the Nighthaunt to their appointed targets with chilling precision.
