iYoYo - NiGHTMOVES X A symbol of the early era of bind-response play, YoYoJam's flagship model has reemerged! Size C bearing, wide body, metal rim weights... these are developments that have flowed from the development of bind-response play. And now, they've flowed back into one of the yo-yos that heralded the age of bind-response play, YoYoJam's flagship "Nightmoves." By incorporating these developments into the now-vintage design, the NiGHTMOVES X has leap-frogged twenty years of yo-yo design, coming full circle to show us both the start and end points for the classic design. It's not just another high-end yo-yo, there's something deeper in the appeal, and the resurgence of the series has received much support from contest players around the world. This version comes five years after the announcement that YoYoJam would cease operations. The current owner of iYoYo, Dave was a sponsored player for YoYoJam at the time, and collaborated with fellow team YoYoJam alum (and REWIND staff member) Jun Aramaki to bring Nightmoves back from the dead. To date, Dave has revived the Spinstar X and other designs, and in this suitable setting, he's created a modern Nightmoves that keeps up with the times. To give you an idea of what to expect, it has a nostalgic quality and similar impact to the Nightmoves 1 and 2. In a world of full sized designs, the unique combination of wide body and side caps makes for an uncommon weight balance; even the sound of it spinning brings back memories!
