You can also capture Full HD 1080p video at up to 120 fps slow-motion, 720p HD at 200/240 fps super-slow-motion, and high-resolution still images. The KeyMission 170 is built to withstand the elements: Without any extra housing, it is waterproof down to 33 ft, shockproof from 6.6 ft, freezeproof, and dustproof. Aside from making the camera more convenient to use, not requiring a housing allows for cleaner image and audio capture, since there are no additional layers between the lens and microphone and your subject. Like the rest of the KeyMission series, the KeyMission 170 uses a glass Nikon Nikkor lens, representing Nikon's commitment to this lineup. The KeyMission 170 also features internal electronic Vibration Reduction (for 1080p and 720p capture) that will reduce the effects of shakes and jitters in your outdoor adventures, providing you with a smoother image. A free-to-download Nikon control and playback app is also included with the camera that's compatible with both iOS and Android mobile devices. A 1.5" display on the rear will allow you to set up and monitor your shots in real time as well as play them back for instant review. The included battery will run up to 110 minutes when capturing video, up to 250 shots when capturing stills, or up to an entire hour underwater.
