I had the honor of painting a custom pice for my family member who, after many years of waiting, was blessed with a beautiful baby girl to call their own. I can’t think of two more deserving parents, and I am so overjoyed for the love and light this little one has brought to their lives. They asked me to create a piece that would forever capture a special place in Hawaii — where baby Niko is from and where they spent precious moments leading up to and after her birth. This sunset scene over the ocean is a memory of her first sunset, a reminder of her roots, and a symbol of the beautiful life they will share together. Now, this heartfelt piece resides in my home state of Illinois, adding warmth to her room and serving as a daily reminder of the love that surrounds her. Show more
