This Oushak rug is over 60 years old, sourced from Eastern Türkiye. As soon as we saw the central motif and differences in colour on each half of this rug we knew we had to bring i t to Australia! Rug Nine’s unique patterning which does not mirror itself creates interest and a new perspective depending on your viewing angle.On one half you have calming blues while the second half features a muted tonal colour palette. The base of this rug is cotton while the pile is made of densely woven small wool knots all done by hand - perfect for high traffic areas, under a bed, living/ dining spaces. Colour Palette: Tonal latte and sand base to showcase the colour variations of sky blue, deep ocean blue and cornflour blue, accompanied by scatters of sea foam and sage.
