The Ninni Culottes by Named Clothing are a pair of delightfully simple and easy elastic-waist pants. This sewing pattern comes with a generous amount of ease and handy in-seam side pockets. You can sew these trousers either from a knit or a woven fabric making the pattern a really versatile one to add to your collection. Suggested Fabrics Choose a light weight or medium weight drapey knit fabric. The sample is made from soft velour, but you can also use light weight sweatshirting, medium weight jersey or other similar knit fabric. The garment can also be sewn using woven fabrics. Choose a light to medium weight woven fabric with some drape. The instructions are written for knits, but if your fabric is woven, refer to the sections in the instructions highlighted with the exclamation mark. Fabric Requirements 150 cm (60″) wide fabric: 160 – 215 cm (1 3/4 – 2 3/8 yd) // 115 cm (45″) wide fabric: 205 – 280 cm (2 1/4 – 3 yd) Sizing UK 6 - 28 (approx. EU 32 – 56). Please check the size chart in the images and finished garment measurements. The pattern is drafted for a 172 cm (5’8″) tall person, so if like me you're on the shorter side of life you may need to take some off the bottom. This pattern comes with plenty of ease. Check the finished measurements for your size and, if necessary, select a size smaller than usually if you want the garment to be more fitted.
