Product Overview Irene Organics Soothing Nipple Butter is a gentle, ultra-pure solution designed to deeply condition and protect chapped, dry skin associated with nursing. Formerly known as Nipple Balm, this improved formula uses a moisturizing base of Organic Olive Oil and Coconut Oil, which gives it a smoother, easily spreadable texture perfect for sensitive skin. This powerful formula penetrates the skin barrier to seal in moisture, supporting skin recovery and making for a more comfortable breastfeeding experience. The best part is that this Nipple Butter is crafted with only 100% Certified Organic Ingredients, guaranteeing that it is safe for both mama and baby—no need to wash it off before feeding! Packaged in an amber glass jar, the balm is free of any toxins or chemicals that may leach from plastic containers and remains completely Lanolin-free and Petroleum-free. It also doubles wonderfully as a daily lip balm or spot moisturizer. Ingredients & Material Transparency This formula contains five simple, certified organic ingredients focused on purity and skin recovery. Organic Olive Oil (New Base): The foundation of this butter, providing deep moisture and a smoother, easier-to-apply texture. Organic Coconut Oil: Excellent emollient that conditions dry skin and supports the skin barrier. Organic Shea Butter: Rich in fatty acids that provide intensive hydration and lock in moisture. Organic Beeswax: Creates a gentle, breathable barrier on the skin, sealing in the moisturizing oils. Organic Calendula Oil: A traditional botanical used for its soothing properties that calm sensitive, irritated skin. Full Ingredient List: Organic Olive Oil, Organic Coconut Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Beeswax, Organic Calendula Oil. Key Features 100% Certified Organic: Every ingredient is certified organic, ensuring the highest purity for mama and baby. Safe, Leave-On Formula: No need to wash off before breastfeeding, simplifying your routine. Lanolin & Petroleum-Free: Avoids common allergens (Lanolin) and pore-clogging petrochemicals (Petroleum). Improved Smooth Texture: The new Olive Oil base ensures the butter glides easily over sensitive, chapped skin. Glass Packaging: Stored in an amber glass jar to eliminate the risk of plastic leaching and minimize the need for preservatives. THE BENEFITS Deeply Moisturizes Dry Skin: Provides intensive hydration to nourish and condition chapped, dry nipples. Soothes Discomfort: Calms the sensation of itching and dryness associated with breastfeeding skin changes. Supports Skin Barrier: Helps the skin seal in moisture and supports the skin's natural recovery process. Use Before, During, and After: Safe to use as a preventative measure, during active use, and as a general skin conditioner. Dual-Purpose Balm: Also works beautifully as a protective lip balm or spot treatment for dry skin areas. Common Questions Is Beeswax safe for my baby? Yes. Beeswax is widely used in organic, natural baby products. Concerns regarding botulism spores are related to ingestion of raw honey by infants, not topical use of filtered cosmetic-grade beeswax. The wax in this natural salve is safe for baby contact and provides gentle soothing for easily irritated skin. Important Safety Information Cosmetic Purpose: This Nipple Butter is an intensive cosmetic moisturizer. It is not intended to diagnose, cure, or treat any disease or medical condition. External Use Only: Use only as directed on the nipple area. Note on Formula: Our original Nipple Balm has now been renamed to "Nipple Butter," and we have improved the formula to have an Olive Oil base and a smoother texture.
