Tuberose leads, softened immediately by peach and mandarin so it never gets that sharp green edge tuberose can have on its own. Gardenia and jasmine fill out the middle with a powdery orris underneath, and then vanilla, sandalwood and a whisper of vetiver ground the flowers so they read rich rather than syrupy. Where it genuinely shines locally is the evening: once the sun drops and the air cools slightly, the tuberose loses its heaviness and the sandalwood comes up, and it becomes soft, warm and close.
