That particular hour when the city hasn't quite let go of the day. Engines idling, headlights bleeding into wet tarmac, the blur of movement and stillness existing side by side. La te Home was painted from that feeling not from a photograph, but from memory and instinct, the way the energy of a city at dusk sits somewhere between urgency and exhale. Layers of acrylic were built up and worked back, colour pushing through colour, the composition finding its own rhythm as the painting evolved.
