NNVT Generation 3 Image Intensifier Tubes NNVT has recently expanded its product line with Generation 3 (Gen III) tubes—one of the very few true Gen 3, ITAR-free image intensifiers available on the civilian market. The Gen III NNVT tubes feature a Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) thin-filmed photocathode and are built to deliver exceptional low-light performance. The tubes come autogated and are available in White Phosphor (P-45) MX-10160 format, with Green Phosphor (P-43) versions coming soon. Their main advantage lies in their high luminance gain, with a minimum of 15,000 cd/(m²·lx)—far exceeding most tubes within the same price range. Thanks to their autogating, they perform reliably even in environments with fluctuating or higher ambient light. The Gen 3 NNVT tubes truly excel in very low-light conditions due to their high base gain, making them an excellent choice for users operating in remote or dark environments.
