C. 1870's, Newburg, NY Classic style Italianate marble mantel executed in lightly veined carrara with carved lines down the spandrels. A cameo shaped keystone with a coat of arms r ibbon makes a classic centerpiece. The straight beveled shelf balances the richly ornamented cast iron summer cover with delicate filigree detail.
