DETAILS Epic Armoury’s Dark Red Noble Leather Couter is a pair of leather guards designed to protect the elbows. Molded and cut to provide the most protection to the entire elbow--including the sides and a portion of the arms--you can depend on this armour to keep you fighting. Most importantly, these couters also feature incredible details like scalloped leather, red velvet edging, and smooth leatherwork. Made of hard full-grain leather, these armour pieces are built to withstand the abuse of a LARP or reenactment with regular leather care. This material also has a “wrong” and “right” side, whereas only the outside of the garment appears plush.CleaningClean by removing dirt with a hard brush, then gently rub on leather soap with a clean, damp cloth until the leather appears clean. Remove soap with a separate damp cloth to wipe away any soap residue and then use a dry cloth to wipe away any remaining water from the leather.Velvet should be brushed and spot cleaned using warm water.ConditioningYou should always condition leather after cleaning, since the soap will have removed some of its natural oils. Treat the leather with mink oil, olive oil, or beeswax polish with a clean cloth, gently rubbing a small amount of oil or polish in circles into the leather. Allow the leather to soak in the oil before wiping the leather with a final clean cloth to remove any excess residue.
