THIS IS A PRE-ORDER!!!! The Adaptable Lightweight Powered Helmet Arm or "ALPHA" Mount is the pinnacle of night vision helmet mounts. Coming in at 79 grams, it is the lightest and lowest stowing night vision mount available to date for the common "dovetail" shoe interface. The ALPHA mount is patent pending with a novel design that incorporates a ball detent force to overcome mechanism while also locking at the stowed and deployed positions. This is purposeful and is designed to defeat unwanted wobble in the mount commonly seen in other night vision mounts while also decreasing the chance of accidental deployment. Completely designed, machined, and assembled in the USA, and built to last with high strength 7075-T6 Aluminum, and 17-4 PH Stainless steel. The ALPHA mount has an optional factory variant that allows for a powered shoe for Nocturn Industries devices equipped with the option.
