Two shots. Two completely different performance pathways. One faster athlete. Everyone wants to know which is better, beets or broccoli. It's the wrong question. Once you understand what each is doing inside your body, you realize they're not competing. They stack. The Amacx Beet Shot is the blood-flow play. Each 60ml shot packs 500mg of dietary nitrate from a concentrated 15:1 beetroot extract. Your body converts it to nitric oxide, opens up blood vessels, and gets more oxygen to your working muscles, so you hold harder efforts with less strain. Shake it, shoot it 2.5 hours before your effort. NZVT certified, WADA-compliant. One tip: skip the mouthwash on beet days, the bacteria in your mouth are what convert nitrates to nitric oxide, and mouthwash wipes them out. Nomio is the cellular-defense play. Broccoli sprout compounds, concentrated and stabilized into a single 60ml shot. The active compounds (isothiocyanates) activate your body's master switch for cellular stress defense. In double-blind research: 12% less blood lactate at the same workload, 10% lower oxidative stress. Your legs hurt less. You recover faster. Cole Hocker, David Roche, and Mads Pedersen are all on it. Beets get more oxygen to your engine. Broccoli protects the engine and clears the exhaust. They don't overlap, they stack. Two shots. Two pathways. Both fit in your pocket on race day. How to Use Them Amacx Beet Shot: Take 1-2 shots 2.5-3 hours before your effort. For key races, load 1-2 shots daily for 3-7 days beforehand, then take your pre-race dose at the usual mark. Maximum 2 per day. Skip the mouthwash. Nomio: Take one shot 3 hours before your key workout or race. During heavy training blocks, add a second shot an hour before bed — that's when recovery and adaptation benefits show up strongest. Maximum 2 shots per day.
