This is an economical, non-vented, non-locking gas cap for Vanagon. This is a good back-up cap to have in your glove box, especially come smog check time. Part of the smog check pr ocess involves testing the fuel filler cap, but most smog shops don’t have the special adaptor that fits an OEM locking Vanagon fuel cap found on most 2WD and 4WD vehicles.
