This one really surprised me because I didn't even know that devices like this existed. Especially not over the counter. This is very easy to set up. The instructions weren't very clear to me on the first read through, but I figured it out after a minute or two and it's really not very hard to use. Tried it on an arm and it did, in fact, completely numb the indicated area in about 25 seconds. The electrical current running through this is STRONG. Be careful when choosing a maximum setting, especially if it's in an area where the electrodes are sitting over a muscle. When I was testing it out I alternated between level 1 and level 2 (it goes up to 9, I think). As mentioned, the current was pretty strong and it made some of my fingers contract very strongly. It was a little weird, and for a few moments while I adjusted the settings it was uncomfortable, but at no point was it painful. My arm felt a little funny for several minutes after using this, but nothing debilitating or uncomfortable, just weird.
