Some pieces you wear because they suit you. Others you wear because something in you already knows they belong. We built this set for the second kind of person — the one whose hands and joints have spent a lifetime earning their keep. The lattice piece is engraved diamond by diamond across the whole band. The floral piece is traced alongside it just as slowly. We finished both the same morning, side by side at the same bench, the way we've finished most things together. Copper has sat against skin for thousands of years, worn by people who needed their bodies to stay in the fight. The ones who wear both pieces together tell us the same thing, more or less: they simply stopped noticing what used to bother them. This is one of the last sets we'll send out before the workshop closes for good. We hope it finds the wrists that have earned it.
