Norski Polyurethane Varnish (Gloss) is an oil-based single part product that is a fantastic finish for natural timber. Offering great weatherproof qualities, our varnish is rated as ‘marine grade’ and can be applied to floors, walls, window frames, doors, furniture and even soffits. Its slow curing process (allow 24 hours minimum between coats) allows a strong coating to be built up with subsequent coats. Sanding with 600 grit wet and dry sandpaper between cured coats will enhance adhesion and offer a smoother finish but is not mandatory. The product needs to cure at a temperature that is above 10 degrees Celcius, if its under this temperature then you will need to wait until the temperature climbs above this threshold.
