"Not a creature was stirring . . . "That's right. "Not even a Mouse" is a Christmas card directly inspired from the classic story "Twas' The Night Before Christmas." With images of a Victorian England suburb in the background, chimneys lazily piping out smoke and a heavy, golden moon in the sky; this print more than suggests nocturnal slumber. However, the details carved into this one-color print are anything but lazy. Intricate and purposeful marks create the scene, giving texture and movement across and otherwise tranquil vision. Each block is hand-drawn, hand-carved and printed. The print is made on roughly 6x9 inch hand torn paper. It is printed on Rives BFK heavyweight natural color cotton stock.
