The NOTCH Jet Step is the industry's first toothless foot ascender, using dual opposing Harken cams with low powered tension springs reducing the amount of drag on the climbing lin e and ultimately the amount of rope needed below the device before it self-tends. Two cams squeezing the climbing line from both sides increases grip strength, which translates directly to improved performance on wet, muddy, or frozen ropes.
