The label on the front is taken from an original 1950s drawing in the Fratelli Bonvini archive - a fine ruled frame, blank inside, of the kind once printed on the cover of every Milanese ledger and cashbook so the owner could write what was in it. Here it has been returned to a current notebook, printed in red on white in the same proportions. The cover is soft red board. The spine is bound with Singer stitching - the visible machine-sewn seam that holds the signatures together and lets the book lie flat. Inside, the paper is made in Italy from food-industry waste and post-consumer recycled stock. When the notebook is finished, the paper can go back to where it came from. Produced in a limited edition. Exclusive to Australia.
