The low wide dome is matte cream and sandy, hand-carved with a botanical leaf pattern — loose, organic, drawn before the firing with a tool rather than a brush. The carving catches shadow and releases it depending on the angle. Below, the body is jet black and deeply glossy, reflective enough to hold the room around it. It is the most dramatic vessel in the collection.
