Novice Slipover The Novice Slipover is worked seamlessly from the top down in stockinette stitch. It is designed with a simple, beginner-friendly construction and a relaxed fit. First, the back piece is knitted flat. Stitches are then picked up along the cast-on edge of the back piece to form the shoulders, which are shaped and joined at the front to create the front piece. The back and front pieces are joined under the armholes to form the body, which is then knitted in the round on circular needles. Finally, ribbed edges are worked along the neckline and armholes. The Novice Slipover is designed to have approx. 15 cm of positive ease in relation to your chest measurement. Measure yourself before beginning to choose the size that will fit you best.
