This bourbon started its life in the heart of Southern Indiana, crafted with patience, precision, and respect for tradition. Aged over five years in first-fill charred American oak, it develops the rich, caramelised depth and smooth complexity of a true classic. But it was never meant to stay in one place. From Indiana, it travels halfway around the world to Hawke's Bay, New Zealand — where it's finished in hand-selected Pinot Noir barrels from Decibel Wines. That final chapter changes everything. Dark fruit deepens. Subtle spice weaves through. A velvety finish settles in. The result is a bourbon that belongs to two worlds and is entirely its own.Nowhere Bourbon is the project of South Street Imports, founded by Daniel Brennan and Sean Colgan, who saw a gap in the New Zealand market for something genuinely premium. Daniel is also the winemaker at Decibel Wines — so when it came to sourcing finishing barrels, he knew exactly where to look. The mash bill leans slightly higher in rye at 21%, giving the bourbon a spiced edge that balances the natural sweetness of the corn. It's approachable for bourbon newcomers and interesting enough for the serious drinker. On the nose: toasted oak, vanilla, and caramel. On the palate: spice, bright fruit, and a long, velvety finish.CocktailsA Manhattan to let the dark fruit and rye spice shine, an Old Fashioned to showcase the oak and vanilla, or a Whisky Sour where the spice cuts beautifully through the citrus. Also excellent neat or with a single large ice cube.
